On December 5, 2025, the Republican Reporting and Election Conference of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs was held in Almaty at the UN Plaza site, which gathered more than one hundred and fifty heads and secretaries of UNESCO Clubs from different regions of the country in a hybrid format.

Opening the conference, Bolat Akchulakov, President of the World and Kazakhstan Federations of UNESCO Clubs and Associations, noted the steady growth of the movement over the past three years, the expansion of international projects and the strengthening of the role of Kazakhstan in the global network of UNESCO clubs. The dynamic development of the organization and new partnerships create a solid basis for the implementation of ambitious initiatives in the coming period.

One of the central elements of the conference was the report on the activities of the Federation for 2023-2025, where key achievements were presented, including the development of educational programs, the intensification of international projects, the expansion of the pool of partners and the growth of youth involvement. According to the results of three years, the Federation has achieved significant results. 40 new UNESCO Clubs have been opened and their total number has grown to 237. The Federation has implemented more than 150 projects, and UNESCO Clubs have implemented more than 2,500 initiatives throughout Kazakhstan. The number of participating countries increased to 95, and the total media coverage exceeded 80,000,000 views.

The participants of the Conference were particularly interested in the presentation of the directions of development of the Federation for 2026-2027. Among the indicated guidelines are the modernization of the management system, the creation of a single online platform, the strengthening of the network of regional representative offices, the reform of the club accreditation mechanism, the introduction of an open annual report and the launch of a national youth council with the official award of UNESCO Clubs of Kazakhstan.

With great attention, the participants listened to the reports of regional representations from Astana, Shymkent, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kostanay, Aktobe, Pavlodar and Abai regions. After the completion of the reporting part, the participants moved to the choice of the leadership of the Federation and members of the Board. Thus, Bibigul Nusipzhanova, Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography – UNESCO Club, Coordinator of the Regional Representative Office of the Federation for Astana, was elected Vice-President for the Development of the Federation.

Within the framework of the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the UNESCO Club Federation and the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, which opens up new prospects for cultural and educational initiatives. The status of Honorary Partner of the Federation was awarded to Bank CenterCredit and ALT Sound in recognition of their long-term contribution to supporting projects.

.Special attention was drawn to the solemn ceremony of awarding the title “Messenger of UNESCO Clubs of Kazakhstan”. The new envoys were bright and recognized figures of culture, art, sports and media: artist Aigerim Karibayeva, artist and sculptor Sayan Baigaliyev, silver medalist of the Olympic Games Nariman Kurbanov, journalist and media manager Mahabbat Yesen, world-famous Bayanist Galymzhan Narymbetov. Their participation is designed to increase public interest in the activities of the UNESCO Clubs and inspire young people across the country to new successes.
