Acceptance of applications for participation in the Isa Baizakov City Music Competition, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding akyn, poet and composer, has started.

The competition is held to preserve and popularize the heritage of Isa Baizakov, support gifted children and young people, as well as the development of traditional forms of Kazakh musical art.

Students of general education schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, music schools and colleges of Almaty in two age categories are invited to participate: 12-15 years and 16-18 years.

Applications are accepted until October 15, 2025 through ONLIN-FORM.

The application must be accompanied by a video recording of the performance of the competitive work.

The final stage of the competition will be held from 27 to 29 October 2025 in the concert hall of gymnasium No83 in Almaty. Winners will be awarded diplomas and memorable gifts, all participants will receive certificates.

The organizers of the competition are the family of Isa Baizakov, the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, the school "Kokil" - UNESCO Club and the gymnasium No83 of Almaty with the support of the Education Department of Almaty.
