The Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs announces the results of the qualifying stage of YOUTH ECO CAMP, held within the framework of the National Social Eco-Campaign TURAQTY JOL 7.0. The full list of finalists can be found > By reference

TURAQTY JOL is an educational program aimed at educating the younger generation of a thrifty attitude to their native land through the inculcation of cultural, moral and environmental values. It is a continuation of six cycles of the project successfully organized by the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs in cooperation with General Partner Bank CenterCredit and Official Partner Chevron.
The initiative is implemented with the support of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO and the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty.

The project focuses on the formation of a sustainable educational environment for the preparation of a new generation of environmental leaders capable of developing and implementing sustainable development initiatives with their further financing and implementation in Kazakhstan. The competition was attended by schoolchildren and young people aged 14 to 18 years. This year, about 400 applications were received from all regions of the country, which indicates the high interest of young people in environmental issues and a sustainable future.

YOUTH ECO CAMP TURAQTY JOL 7.0 will be held in the format of teams of 3-4 people. Within seven days, the finalists will undergo an immersive educational program, including lectures, workshops, profile classes, team development of projects, preparation of final presentations and defense before the jury. Final events will be held from July 26 to August 1, 2026 in Almaty.

It should be noted that during the last three cycles of the implementation of the youth innovation component within the framework of the TURAQTY JOL eco-campaign, about 5,500 applications were submitted for the competition, and the total amount of funding to youth eco-startups amounted to 35 million tenge. This year, the total prize fund of YOUTH ECO CAMP TURAQTY JOL 7.0 is 5 million tenge.
