As part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the KAZENERGY Association and the XVI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY, the acceptance of applications for the republican creative drawing competition “Energy of the Future” for young artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan aged 14 to 18 years has started.

The competition is organized by the KAZENERGY Association together with the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs with the support of UNESCO Clubs of Kazakhstan. The initiative is aimed at involving talented young people in understanding current issues of sustainable energy development through artistic expression.

The main goal of the competition is to unite creatively gifted youth of the country from among the members of UNESCO Clubs in the framework of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the KAZENERGY Association through the search for new ideas and approaches to the sustainable development of the energy industry through artistic expression.

Contest themes:
"Energy of labor" - on the importance of working professions and the continuity of generations;
“I am the energy of change” – about personal responsibility for the future of the planet.
"Kazakhstan - Energy of Eurasia" - about the country's contribution to the energy security of the region.

Participants are invited to reflect the proposed themes in artwork made in the technique of painting or graphics. Applications are accepted until September 19, 2025. Competitive works (in A1 or A2) format should be sent in the original to the address: Almaty, Chaplina St., 71 (Business Park Stanitsa), office 512, with the mandatory application of the participant questionnaire and consent form.

The winners of the contest in three nominations will be invited to the award ceremony within the framework of the final exhibition of the competition on October 3, 2025 in Astana, where they will have a unique opportunity to become honorary participants of the KAZAKHSTAN ENERGY WEEK-2025/XVI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum.

Participation in the competition is free. All costs associated with the trip of the winners and their accompanying guests to the award ceremony are covered by the organizers.
