The Kazakh National Federation of UNESCO Clubs in collaboration with the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy announces the start of applications (from February 15 to July 1, 2020) for the artistic cycle of the International Festival under the auspices of UNESCO, 'The Planet of ART-2020'.

In 2020, the Festival is dedicated to the memory of the unmatched scholar-thinker Abu Nasr al-Farabi and the great Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayev on the occasion of their anniversary dates at the national and international levels.

Students of children's art schools, art schools, art studios, and representatives of partner organizations and UNESCO Clubs around the world are invited to demonstrate their vision of the formation of the 'Second Teacher' - Al-Farabi and the founder of Kazakh literature, A. Kunanbayev, based on their works and writings in the following categories:

Нominations dedicated to the heritage of Abu Nasr Al-Farabi:

• «World of Al-Farabi»
• «Representation of a Virtuous City»
• «Harmony of Music»

Нominations dedicated to the heritage of Abay Kunanbayev:

• «Path of Abay»
• «Eternal World of Poetry»
• «Wisdom of Words and Teachings».

According to the results of the competition, 150 finalists of the project will be determined, who will receive an invitation to the final in Almaty. They will be presented with a rich educational and cultural program. The culmination of the Festival will be the release and presentation of the thematic album “Thinkers of the Great Steppe” at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France in Paris during official events to celebrate the aforementioned memorable dates. In addition, as part of the award ceremony for finalists from all regions of the country, a mobile exhibition of the best works will be held in the regional centers of Kazakhstan.
