The Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO announces the launch of a Creative Arts Competition on the theme “Protection of Ice Massifs” within the framework of the National Social Eco-Campaign TURAQTY JOL. This initiative is aimed to inspire creative and artistic individuals to express their views on the issue of melting glaciers through art.
The competition is open to participants aged 12 to 35 years from all regions of Kazakhstan and is held with the aim of highlighting the importance of preserving ice masses, as well as attracting public attention to this environmental problem. Participation in the competition is free.

The competition is held in three categories:
● Artistic nomination – “ARCTIC ARTIST”
● Applied arts nomination – “ICE SYMPHONY”
● Photography nomination – “ICE SCAPES IN MOTION”
The competitive works of the participants will be evaluated by a professional jury, which will include eminent creative figures, representatives of the Union of Artists and the Union of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Taking into account key criteria, including technical skill, originality and creativity, the jury will determine the winners of the contest. The remaining finalists' works will be submitted for open voting from July 11 to 16, 2024 on the TOURNAMAN platform, as a result of which one winner will be determined in the "Society's Choice" category.
TURAQTY JOL is a continuation of four cycles of the project successfully implemented by the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO in collaboration with the general partner Bank CenterCredit and the official partner company Chevron, as well as Shymbulak Ski Resort and Tournaman platform.
The initiative is being implemented with the support of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ICESCO, the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty and the Akimat of Almaty.
