Within the framework of the cultural program "Aktau – the cultural capital of the Turkic world 2025", the launch of the International Competition of young artists of the Turkic world on the theme "Traditional children's games of the Turkic world" has been announced. The initiator and organizer is the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY with the support of the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO.

The purpose of the contest is to support and develop creative youth, popularize children's and youth artistic creativity, as well as preserve intangible cultural heritage and strengthen intercultural ties between the countries of the Turkic world. Through fine art, participants will be able to convey the national flavor of their country by depicting traditional children's games characteristic of their culture, emphasizing their historical and artistic value.

Young and young artists between the ages of 12 and 18 living in TURKSOY member countries are invited to participate. Each participant can submit only one work made in any technique corresponding to the subject of the competition. The works must be sent electronically in JPEG or PDF format (resolution 300 dpi) to the organizers' e-mail, with the obligatory attachment of a completed application and consent to the transfer of copyright. Participation in the contest is free of charge.

The results of the first round will be published on TURKSOY's official website (www.turksoy.org ) on May 15, 2025, the results of the second round - on June 30, 2025.

The finalists will receive diplomas and memorable gifts, and the best works will be included in the official catalog of the competition and presented at an international exhibition within the framework of TURKSOY events. The award ceremony will be held in August 2025 in Aktau.
