Open a Club
Open a UNESCO Club
- 1. An application expressing the intention to create a UNESCO Club is submitted to the President of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs in the Federation's Secretariat with the following documents attached:
- — копия документов, регламентирующих деятельность учреждения;
- — информация о работе учреждения за предшествующий период;
- — проект плана деятельности в качестве клуба ЮНЕСКО на предстоящий календарный год;
- — Ф.И.О. руководства клуба с указанием полной контактной информации.
- 2. The Federation's Secretariat reviews the submitted application with the participation of an authorized member of the Federation's Board and a representative of the UNESCO Club from the given region. In this process, the institution's compliance with the requirements for a UNESCO Club is determined.
- 3. An authorized member of the Federation's Board presents their recommendations at the next Board Meeting. The institution's representatives are informed about the timing and location of the Board Meeting and may participate in the discussion of this issue.
- 4. Based on the discussion, the Board makes a decision to assign the institution the status of a candidate club for the creation of a UNESCO Club, or to deny the institution the initiation of the UNESCO Club creation process.
- 5. The Federation's Board decides to establish a UNESCO Club based on the candidate club and to admit club members to the Federation.
- 6. The Federation's Board may postpone the decision to establish a UNESCO Club based on the candidate club, providing recommendations and a deadline for their implementation, or reject the establishment of the club due to negative discussion results.
- 7. The newly established UNESCO Club is issued a Certificate and a nameplate of the established sample.
- 8. If there are at least 7 active UNESCO clubs in an administrative unit (region/cities of national importance), it is possible to establish a Regional Representation, whose activities are strictly in accordance with the Charter of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and are regulated by the 'Regulation on Regional Representations of the Federation' dated July 1, 2016.
A UNESCO Club can be organized if there are five or more people in the club, at least three of whom must be adults.
