Remembering the PAST, striving towards the FUTURE
International Festival of Children's Creativity 'Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa'

Since 1990, the Asian-Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations and the Japanese National Federation of UNESCO Associations, with the support of Mitsubishi's Public Relations Committee, have been organizing the International Asian Children's Creativity Festival 'Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa'.

This contest aims to support UNESCO's program in the fields of culture and education, as well as to establish and maintain intercultural understanding and exchange through children's creativity. Since 2008, the Republic of Kazakhstan has been a participating country in the project. In Kazakhstan, the contest is held with the support of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty, the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Akimat of Almaty.

Children aged 6 to 12 years can take part in the competition. The journal “ENIKKI” created by the participants gives an opportunity to tell children all over Asia about the life of their peers in Kazakhstan, demonstrating the culture, national traditions and customs of our country. According to the results of the meeting of the national selection committee, 8 finalists are determined, who are awarded valuable prizes and gifts. The winner of the Grand Prix from each country will be invited to the official award ceremony and cultural and educational program in Japan.
