The UNESCO Club is an association of people of all ages, all social and professional strata who share the ideals of UNESCO, strive for their dissemination and involvement in the work of the international organization UNESCO in all areas included in the concept of science, culture and education.
As of June 11, 2020, there are 155 UNESCO Clubs and 9 Candidate Clubs in 40 cities and 12 villages in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are united into the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs.
The main activity of the UNESCO Club is to study and promote the activities of the UN and UNESCO, their principles and ideals. All activities of the club must meet two main conditions - to be held in the spirit of UNESCO and in accordance with the Charter of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs.
