The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a children’s drawing contest in honor of the Year of Neutrality and Peace
“Turkmenistan through the eyes of Kazakhstani children”
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and the Association for the Development of Civil Society “ARGO”, announces a creative competition for children’s drawings on the theme “Turkmenistan through the eyes of Kazakh children”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality.
Stages of the competition:
1. February 25 to May 5, 2015-acceptance of contest entries.
2. May 15, 2015-summing up the results of the competition.
3. May 18, 2015-award ceremony and exhibition of drawings. All participants of the contest will receive certificates, and the winners will receive diplomas and valuable prizes.
Terms of the contest:
1. The right of participation in the contest is given to children aged 7 – 12 years old from the city of Almaty.
2. The contestants are divided into three age categories:
* Drawings of children 7-8 years old;
* Drawings of children 9-10 years old;
• The drawings of children aged 11-12 years.
3. Topic: “Turkmenistan through the eyes of Kazakhstani children»
4. Drawing technique: free.
5. Size: 297×420 mm (A-3)
6. From each participant no more than 2 works.
Sending works:
I. Entries are accepted until May 5, 2015. They can be delivered in person or sent by mail in advance to the office of the Association for the Development of Civil Society “ARGO” marked “Children’s Drawing Contest” at the address: 36 Zhandosova str., 050057, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
