Acceptance of applications for the Art cycle of the International Festival "The Planet of ART-2022" is open

The Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO for Clubs in cooperation with LLP “Tengizchevroil” announces the start of accepting applications (from February 15 to July 30, 2020) for the art cycle of the International Festival “The Planet of ART-2022”.

In 2022, the artistic cycle of the festival is dedicated to the Year of Children in Kazakhstan, as well as the UN Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2021–2022), the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage of the CIS, the 75th anniversary of the UNESCO Club Movement, the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s entry into the UN and UNESCO, and the promotion of the state program “Rukhani Zhangyru”.

The main theme of the Festival is devoted to the study of the heritage of the Great Silk Road, a phenomenon that takes a special place on the pages of world history.

Children aged 3 to 18 years (inclusive) from anywhere in Kazakhstan and the world are invited to participate in the project.

Deadline: July 30, 2022.

Participation is absolutely free.

Students at children’s art schools, art studios, initiative representatives of partner organizations and UNESCO Clubs around the world are invited to show their vision of the historical heritage of the Silk Road, which has left its indispensable mark on the formation of our modern society in the following thematic nominations:

  1. «Silk Road: Cultural Heritage»;
  2. «Silk Road: Innovations»;
  3. «Silk Road: Friendship of nations».

Submission of the artworks for the Final Screening:

Original works should be photographed and sent in digital format through Google Forms in the format of a photograph JPG, PNG image size not less than 5 MB, before July 30, 2022. Note: The works will be exhibited and printed. In this regard, the photos of drawings should be in good quality and clear.

According to the results of the competition, 150 project finalists will be determined, who will be awarded diplomas of finalists and winners. The culmination of the festival will be the release and presentation of the thematic album “Heritage of the Silk Road”.
