Republican education project for Sustainable development "DNA of the Steppe"

Kazakhstan Federation of Clubs for UNESCO and the “Sauvage” Group of companies announces the launch of the project “DNA of the Steppe”.
This is the first experimental project in Kazakhstan in the interests of sustainable development, which is aimed to form a new public consciousness by addressing the historical, cultural, spiritual origins and values of the ancestors.
The project will consist of two parts: educational and creative, where participation in the educational program does not obligate you to participate in an art contest.
Participation in the educational program includes a series of training and lectures with an aim of raising awareness of the population about ecological culture and the possibility of contributions to maintaining world peace by referring to the cultural heritage of our nation.

After the lectures, the participants will receive all the necessary information to prepare their works for participation in the contest of drawings and illustrations and provide the work expected by the organizers of “DNA of the Steppe”

THE CONTEST IS BASED ON THREE NOMINATIONS
The goal of the nomination “History – our future” is to represent harmonious integration of the cultural heritage of people who lived on the territory of Kazakhstan, who are the ancestors of Kazakhs, and the realities of the modern world.
The goal of the nomination “Unity” is to represent unity, equality of all people on the Earth without distinction of race, sex, language, or religion and to reveal the concept of “global citizen”, “citizen of the world”.
The purpose of the “Awakening” nomination is to portray a world that strives for sustainable development, where every citizen of the Earth contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals №6, 12, 13, 14, 15.
To participate in the contest, you need to prepare a work for one of the categories and upload it by clicking on the button below.
The competition is open to everyone aged 7 to 65 years (age categories 7-12, 13-18, 19-65) from 14 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, and Shymkent. The best works will be included in the thematic art exhibition, and their authors will be awarded diplomas of the finalists!
Terms of registration and submission of applications: June 1 — July 1, 2021! Participation is free!
