Republican contest of photos and drawings within the framework of the ecological marathon
“MY ECO-TRAIL”
The UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty, the Kazakhstan Association of Regional Environmental Initiatives “ECOJER” and the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs announce the launch of a photo and drawing contest within the framework of the republican youth eco-marathon “MY ECO-FOOTPRINT”.
“If you are not indifferent to the topic of environmental protection, if you actively support a healthy initiative for sorting waste, like to photograph and draw and, most importantly, want to make a personal contribution to solving environmental problems-take part in the largest, republican environmental competition of drawings and photographs!”.
The contest will be held in three categories
In the category “Creating, do not destroy”, drawings are accepted on the topic of the importance of preserving the natural resources of the planet, the need to solve existing environmental problems and comply with the principles of reasonable consumption.
Mobile photos of unique and unusual natural phenomena, amazing places of Kazakhstan, as well as photos about the importance of preserving biodiversity and the pristine beauty of nature are accepted in the nomination “The World in which we live”.
In the category “Sorting is fashionable!” professional staged photos about the need for sorting and recycling of waste are accepted, using elements of the fashion industry and causing an associative series with the color palette. Photos can be combined with a thematic plot, using various items.
The best drawings and works will decorate billboards and bus shelters in Almaty!
The authors of the best works will be awarded with prizes!
The competition is open to EVERYONE aged 12 to 35 years (age categories: 12-16 years, 17-25 years, 26-35 years). Participation in the contest is absolutely free.
Applications will be accepted from September 16 to October 15, 2020.
