Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO
announces the application period
for the International Festival “The Planet of ART” until May 30, 2022.
The Planet of ART is an annual event aimed at supporting talented children and youth, realizing their creative potential, popularizing the diversity of art and culture of the countries in the international arena and strengthening international cultural relations.
In 2022, the musical cycle of the festival is dedicated to the Year of Children in Kazakhstan, as well as the UN Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2021-2022), the 75th anniversary of the UNESCO Clubs movements, the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s membership in the UN and UNESCO and the promotion of the state program “Rukhani Zhangyu”.
Thus, the main theme of the Festival is the idea of peace and harmony, which is a priority for Kazakhstan and UNESCO, achieved through the peaceful coexistence of different cultures, ethnic groups under the same sky with a sense of sincere respect for each other.
Citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan between the ages 12 to 18 (inclusive) living in Kazakhstan are invited to participate in the project. Only SOLO performers are allowed to participate in the Festival.
PARTICIPATION IS FREE.
Applications for participation are accepted in 3 main categories:
- Vocal;
- Instrumental;
- Choreography.
Thanks the support of the General Partner – the Eurasian Group and Exxon Mobil Kazakhstan Inc, all children, regardless of their social status, including children from remote regions and rural areas from the whole Kazakhstan and countries participating in the Festival, have an equal chance to demonstrate their talents on an absolutely free basis.
Based on the results of the qualifying round, the finalists from the participating countries in vocal, instrumental and choreographic nominations will represent their country at the International Festival “The Planet of ART 2022”.
The finalists of the festival from all countries will have the opportunity to attend master classes and classes with leading artists of Kazakhstan, thematic seminars on the culture of peace and tolerance, as well as demonstrate their performances in the Gala concert of the Festival in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, performing accompanied by a chamber Orchestra of the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic named after G. Zhubanova on July 23, 2022.
