Event name: Republican Youth ecological Marathon “MY ECO-TRAIL”

The purpose of the event: Promotion and formation of Eco-thinking and thrifty attitude to consumption and preservation of Peace among the youth of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Since August 3, 2020, the Ust-Kamenogorsk Association of Children’s and Youth Clubs “Zhiger” of the Akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk has been actively participating in the Republican Youth Eco-marathon “My ECO –Footprint”. The marathon is held under the auspices of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs. 49 children and teenagers of ODPC “Zhiger” perform weekly tasks: write essays, create videos, presentations, projects, perform creative works. At the moment, the guys have completed 9 tasks out of 12. Ivanova Anastasia, a student of the Center of Creativity “Zhiger” is the winner of 2 tasks. The organizers of the Marathon sent Anastasia a gift – eco-bags. Orazaeva Alima from the children’s and teenage club “Orken – – the winner of the 8th task.
