On November 6, 2021, an educational and consulting Seminar of UNESCO Clubs’ Secretaries of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic “The key role of UNESCO Clubs: enlightening citizens and establishing dialogue between cultures and generations for Sustainable Sevelopment” was held in an online format.

The agenda was dedicated to the concept of a UNESCO Club, also the plan of Clubs and the National Federation for the next year, and priority directions of UNESCO for 2022 was discussed.

On October 29-30, 2021, the IV Asia-Europe Forum on Education “Sustainable Development in Our Society” took place in an online format.
The Forum gathered over 1,500 people from more than 35 countries, including members of the world movement of UNESCO clubs, representatives of UNESCO Headquarters and National Commissions for UNESCO, as well as interested participants from various international organizations, government agencies, scientific circles, private and non-governmental sectors.

The Kazakhstan Federation of Clubs for UNESCO together with the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty with the support of the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO, and the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations (WFUCA) announce the start of the #WeHopeForPeace World Challenge dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day against Nuclear Tests, as well as the 30th anniversary of the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site.
