Applу for the First International Model of UNESCO
Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs announces acceptance of applications for the First International Model of UNESCO.
We are pleased to share that the Kazakhstan Federation of UNESCO Clubs has received the auspices of UNESCO for the First International Model of UNESCO. It is gratifying that one of the largest educational projects of the Federation, as the UNESCO Model, over the past three years has expanded its boundaries from the city to the national level, and today it has the opportunity to unite young people from all over the world, being implemented at the international level.
The UNESCO Model is an educational platform in which the participants play the role of representatives of the Member States of UNESCO, simulating the meetings that take place within the Organization. Students participating in this simulation are introduced to the work and goals of the UN, UNESCO.
As you know, UNESCO is responsible for the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all, based on the Education 2030 Framework for Action. In this regard, the theme of the First International Model of UNESCO is – Inclusive and accessible education for all.
It is expected that the First International Model of UNESCO will become a platform for young people from more than 40 countries, which will give them the opportunity to express their opinion on the importance of inclusive and equitable quality education.
This event will have 3 stages: the first stage will include the video presentations of the delegates’ reports; the second stage will be the demonstration of each country’s strategies on the topic of “Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education for All” in the form of presentations; the third practical stage will be an interactive activity where the participants will be able to develop their critical thinking and public speaking skills. The result of the Model will be the adoption of a resolution.

The event will be held online using the ZOOM platform.
Participation in the Model is FREE.
Working language: ENGLISH.
Format: meeting of the ministers of education of the UNESCO member-states.
All foreign schoolchildren and students studying in Kazakhstani schools, colleges and universities, as well as youth representatives of all UNESCO member-states aged 16 to 22 are invited to participate in the First International Model of UNESCO.
